"For example, as soon as deliveries of Abrams and Leopard tanks to Ukrainian forces begin, the Marker will be equipped with an electronic image suitable for detecting and destroying US and German tanks with anti-tank guided missiles.
Markers, according to him, can also prioritize enemy targets while at the forefront.
The former head of Roscosmos said four Marker robots would be delivered to the Donbass region in February. He hopes the Marker can operate soon after going through a series of trials.
Rogozin's statement came after German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced Berlin's decision to send 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, which was followed by US President Joe Biden's announcement that Washington would also send 31 Abrams tanks to Kiev.
The Russian Embassy in Germany warned that the dangerous (Berlin) decision could push the conflict in Ukraine to a new level of stalemate.
